Parents and Grandparents Program

The Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) is a unique Immigration program allowing both Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their own parents and grandparents for Canadian permanent residence.

Every year the IRCC releases its quotas for the PGP, and the sponsors who have their interests registered may be eligible under this quota. IRCC then, as per its discretion, sends out invitations to the eligible applicants, who then get a 60-days time frame to complete the application.
